Chiang Mai Night Bazaar

The centre of shopping is undoubtedly the Night Bazaar. Every evening Chang Klan road comes alive with countless pavement stalls and handicraft centres selling a myriad of goods at knock down prices, but be sure to bargain hard! Despite recent crackdowns by the police, counterfeit goods are in abundance here and is the place to come for cheap DVD's, Gucci handbags, Rolex watches and fake name brand clothing. You will also find a large range of hill tribe products here.

Don't forget to check out the village of Borsang famous for its colourful umbrellas.
Where: Many of the craft shops and factory outlets are about 10-15km out of town. Ideally hire a motorbike or take a tuk tuk as the craft cent ers are well spread out along The Sankampheng Rd or contact us here at The Travel Hub. We will be happy to arrange your transport there.
